Master's Series:001 Miniocalypse the Barbarian
The Master's series is a 54mm scale line of character miniatures which will be inspired by actual persons from the tabletop hobby/gaming community and of persons who are close and dear to me. I will immortalize and sculpt each master into a miniature manifestation worthy of your brush! Meet Miniocalypse the Barbarian! This is the first character miniature I have ever fully realized into an STL for 3D Printing. Jamie is from the painting studio Miniocalypse, and has been a big supporter of mine over the last few months. We've even become real good internet friends amidst the pandemic. Some day we'll BBQ, but until then a chat window must suffice! When I was streaming 5-7 days a week he was always watching, lurkin' or wurkin'! When I first delved into sculpting figures with the Trollfug, he was there to support and test print the prototype. He's been a good friend through these darkest months of the year and I couldn't be more proud to immortalize him.

Miniocalypse isn't a huge name in the hobby, but that doesn't mean that he and others like him don't deserve something like this. It is my intention to sculpt minis of all of us hobbyists, without hobby/gaming-fame as a deciding factor! I honestly feel that each miniature is an opportunity towards this and I am surprised that more 3d artists from our community haven't considered the act! The only thing I hope is that I can get my workflow down so I can produce a lot more minis!

The 3d print in the pictures, was printed at its default size of 62.1mm from the pegs to top. Jamie is 6'4" which roughly equates to 57mm. I printed this at 30 microns at vroom speeds on my new Mars 2 Pro. The model is also pre-supported by yours truly. The download contains a pre-supported STL, the un-supported STL, and the lychee file for those who have succumbed to the lychee love!
The next mini in the Masters series was awarded to a random viewer of my twitch stream. By luck it was awarded to a fellow streamer, Zombie Brush Studio's! I'll be starting work on this miniature LIVE on my twitch channel on my weekly stream @ 7p.m. EST this Thursday (2/11/21). Please stop by to check on the progress and say hey! It lets me know that this is all for something and it truly inspires me! I'll also be giving away a print of Miniocalypse to 1 lucky viewer!
