I hate/love what social media has done to the world. LOL! Oh man do I hate/love it! What I do love is a sense of community, the hobby, and the GAMES! With the tones in the social-media-verse going to such dark places, I decided I gotta have a place to congregate away from all that. Enter the Discord Server! My hobby oasis! The Jewel in the Rough! Okay, well we are a bunch of degenerates, but close enough!
I have been using this server as a means of connecting with people for my live stream broadcasts. I basically screen share my broadcasting software directly to Discord so that guests can take part in live feed of my broadcasts. At the moment we are using it for MiniGrinder Paints Live! and Natural One Demos. If either of these things interest you, take the time to join the server! Eventually I will be broadcasting full blown adventurers via Discord!
Whenever I am working I usually pull the Discord up and join the General Voice chat. It's great talking to peeps while hobbying it up! Anyone is welcome to join at any time really. All I ask is that you don't talk politics or religion and don't be a dick. Yeah... I said it. Dicks get the boot yo!
